Sheet Piles Repair on Jalan Puri Mutiara Raya Completed

Repairs to the water channel sheet piles with a length of 10 meters conducted by the Cilandak Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit, South Jakarta on Jalan Puri Mutiara Raya, Cipete Selatan Urban Village, finally completed.

Cilandak Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Yansori said the repair of the sheet pile is a follow-up to residents' complaints via the environmental management to the local sub-district authority.

"Repairs were conducted, as the sheet pile had collapsed, causing the channel cover to tilt and become dangerous," he expressed, Friday (1/19).

He explained the work involved eight personnel from the Cilandak Sub-district SDA Executing Unit.

"We also deploy one unit of excavator to speed up the repair," he explained.

It started on January 9, 2024, and continued to be accelerated considering it was the rainy season already.

"Alhamdulillah (thanks God), the sheet pile is functioning normally and residents can feel increasingly safe and comfortable," he explained.

The action above received appreciation from Fernanda (34), a local resident, as the Cilandak Sub-district had responded quickly to residents' complaints.

"Thank you, the repair is ongoing well. We no longer have to worry about it falling into the channel," he stated.
